DC Direct will release a limited edition THE DARK KNIGHT: THE JOKER 1:2 Scale Bust on March 25th, 2009.

Sculpted by Kolby Jukes,  the bust features a "movie-accurate likeness" of The Joker, including facial details along with his unique fabric costume, which is tailored to the cold-cast porcelain body.  It will be mounted on a museum-style pedestal display base, and measures approximately 14.75" high x 11" wide x 8" deep.

The run is limited to 2,500 pieces and the item is priced at $295.00 each.

I would definitely get this but I ain't paying $300 for it. Oh well, the bobble head will have to do.

Apparently "movie-accurate likeness" doesn't mean "looks like Heath Ledger as the Joker from the film".

I don't remember his suit being that well kept in the movie.

They should have said "Looks nothing like the great heath ledger from the movie" Bust. I might think about buying it if it actually looked like him and the character fromt he movie. Just wait for master replicas Premium edition figure, it looks like him and its sweet!!

DC direct is not sideshow collectibles by any means however both are over priced. :-)
