Josephson Overseeing Car SMASH

Aaron Philson Brown's action spec Smash has been picked up by production company New Regency and they've set producer Barry Josephson (Enchanted) to oversee the project, reports Variety. The two--Regency and Josephson-- have been working together recently on the upcoming sci-fi They Came From Upstairs and an adaptation of Sisters Grimm series.
Plot Concept: The story centers on a rebellious teen who moves to a suburban Midwest town where the popular crowd lures him into their world of souped-up cars and demolition derbies.
