JUPITER ASCENDING now arrives Feb. 6, 2015

The Wachowski's sci-fi epic JUPITER ASCENDING has been pulled from his July release date. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Wachowski's original sci-fi epic “needed more special effects work”. This is a shame really as it was one of the few original films of the summer that wasn’t a superhero film, a sequel, or a relaunch. The Hollywood Reporter also commented that “Bad buzz likely sparked concern on the Warner Bros. lot, where the Wachowski siblings had longtime ties to former film studio chief Jeff Robinov”.

What do you think Maniacs? Remember Elysium got switched around last year. Anyone really remember Elysium? The Green Lantern got a special effects touch up too. We all remember how that film played out.

Synopsis: From the streets of Chicago to the far-flung galaxies whirling through space, “Jupiter Ascending” tells the story of Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis), who was born under a night sky, with signs predicting she was destined for great things.  Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people’s houses and an endless run of bad breaks.  Only when Caine (Channing Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along—her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.

JUPITER ASCENDING features Channing Tatum (“Magic Mike”) and Mila Kunis (“Oz the Great and Powerful”) lead an international cast that also includes Sean Bean (“The Lord of the Rings” Trilogy), Eddie Redmayne (“Les Misérables”), Douglas Booth (“LOL”), Tuppence Middleton (TV’s “The Lady Vanishes”), Doona Bae (“Cloud Atlas”), James D’Arcy (“Hitchcock”) and Tim Pigott-Smith (“Alice in Wonderland”).

JUPITER ASCENDING arrives February 6th, 2015.

I'm always open for a Wachowski siblings' film and was looking forward to this. But let's be honest, a jump from July to Feb signals nothing good regardless of how they want to paint it.

But come Feb I'm still checking it out opening weekend

Oh...this doesn't bode well.

Never really cared for the Wacko Bros' films.  Matrix was good (except for the ending shot).  Other than that, I really don't care fore their body of work and nothing in the trailers for this had me interested either.

Whew this must be one stinko of  a flick.  I mean for them to move it from blockbuster to lackluster it has to be horrible.  I mean its not like people go to see films that Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis are in?   LOL  The more I think about this, the more I'm sure this film must suck.   and WVUgopher...you're not implying that Elysium is a Wajko film are you?

People should be held to their word. If they say they are going to do something and then change the intended action, they loose credibility.

 Hmm... good this is not

ALWAYS a bad sign, fuck the excuses, this film is still on my list cuz the W's make awesome movies but dumping a July date for Feb is bad bad bad.
