Newsarama has an exclusive clip from Justice League: War. This new clip features Shazam (voiced by Sean Astin). Jay Olivia (Batman: The Dark Knight Returns) spoke about the Shazam in the new animated feature.

"He is a good connection to Cyborg, who gets powers suddenly thrust on him [in the film]" said Oliva. "We used him pretty smartly as a way to relate to Cyborg, and being the one that can say, 'Hey, I'm a kid, but also a hero, and I've been doing this for a little while.' Shazam helps Cyborg through it."
Synopsis: When the powerful Darkseid and his massive, relentless forces invade Earth, a group of previously unaligned super heroes – misunderstood and, in some cases, hunted by the authorities – discover the only way to fend off the attack will be to work together as a cohesive unit. Batman,Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Shazam and, in his origin story, Cyborg combine their respective talents in an all-out battle to save the planet. Based on the 2012 graphic novel, “Justice League: Origin,” by Geoff Johns & Jim Lee, Justice League: War provides a glance into the world before the Justice League was created, and offers the initial animated incarnation of DC Entertainment’s “The New 52.”
Justice League: War arrives via Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and Digital HD on February 4, 2014 from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.

it was a very enjoyable film, but not on par with flashpoint. I'm tempted to post my feelings more in detail, but i acknowledge the majority here haven't seen it yet. However, the concern about voices was most prevalent with Darkseid (i thought batman's would bother me, but i found it didn't). Interesting to see a Justice League/Cyborg origin movie, but the lack of familiarity each of these guys had with one another was a bit unnerving and unrealistic. I loved the old TAS, JLU, JL continuity and how these guys met over time... were already somewhat familiar BEFORE deciding to be a team.

Yeah, I saw it too.  It was ok.  They are pushing the boundaries when it comes to the action sequences and with the "colorful" dialogue.  Green Lantern had some of the best lines...  I have a feeling that this is Zack Snyder's Superman... Wonder Woman sounded bland and TOO cartoonish.  I just didn't get a feel for her character...  I hate that they have not made an effort to make a movie in the JL/JLU continuity with all the original voice actors.  There are still some stories that could be adapted into their continuity.  Oh well...

interesting, i felt hal jordan was a pompous @$$ in the flick and one of my least favorite. i rather liked wonder woman's rendition.

No doubt.  Green Lantern did play a pompous @$$, but I liked how it was a departure from how he has been previously played.  Wonder Woman, to me, was just bland.  I did enjoy her kicking ass and hacking/slashing everything in sight.  I liked her comments at the end of the movie  I just felt she was stripped down to what they needed her to do most.  And part of that was flirting with Superman...
