I enjoyed it and would have stuck with it. Oh well.

All the fuss and money spent to return The Munsters to the small screen has been for not. NBC has officially passed on The Munsters reboot Mockingbird Lane.
Producer Bryan Fuller (Pushing Daisies) tweeted: “I tweet with a heavy heart, NBC not moving forward with #MockingbirdLane. From producers and cast, thank you all for enthusiasm and support”.
The pilot drew 5.4 million viewers and received fair reviews. The series featured Jerry O’ Connell, Portia de Rossi, and Eddie Izzard.
Did you see the pilot? Would you have liked to seen the further adventures of the Munster Family?
I really liked it. Instead of the other reboots in the past 20 years which were exact copies of the original, this updated it for modern times with a large budget and clever writing.
The original Munsters was camp fun. Like every reboot, Mockingbird Lane made the Munsters dark, with little to no humor whatsoever. I kept waiting for something to make me at least grin. Nothing; absolutely nothing.
Did I hate it? No, but I am not shedding any tears that it will not be a regular series.
Let's face it.. It sucked. Sorry If it's not the campy fun then it's not the Munsters. That's what made the Munsters awesome. Ya can't change stuff like that around.
Glad it's shelved.
A depressed deer didn't make you smile? Anyway I could take it or leave it, I would have watched future episodes to see if it would have turned out better. My kid liked it, she keeps asking if there will be more.
Thanks, after months of already knowing this, it's good to have confirmation, LOL
