They should be able to find decent actors, even though both characters have technically already been in the early films. When they auditioned Cho, I heard that 3000 girls showed up. I'm pretty sure that casting Voldemort and "the girl who gets to snog Ron" will bring out more than that.

Okay, this is bugging me... I had read an interview with him where he was denying his role in Indy 4. I don't have the quote, but it was something along the lines of "Steven was involved in Disturbia, Steven's involved in Transformers, so everyone assumed I was involved in Indy 4." I mean, I don't mind the casting, but this whole "is he or isn't he?" thing's bugging me.

If this is true, we'd better hope that Rowling doesn't bring Sirius back in any serious capaciity in Deathly Hallows, or he's gonna have to be recast. This sucks. A lot. As an actor myself (nothing serious, just community theatre, but whatever) I've always considered Oldman one of those I look up to. He's such a fantastic character actor, he can play comedy just as well as drama, and can be goofy and creepy whenever he wants to. Just looking at Rosencratz & Guildenstern vs. Fifth Element vs. Potter & Batman, the guy can do whatever he wants. More power to him, though. He's rich, he can live the life he wants in retirement.
