The competition for October was spread out over a lot of titles which meant that only one or two gained any significant number of votes. The very limited release of the first Yawara collection from AnimEigo did well, but it couldn't compare to the power of uguu as the FUNimation release of Kanon Vol. #6 took the top honors for the month. This release joins the previous nine selections that are now gearing up to take each other on for the Best DVD Release of 2008.
