Just saw this on Facebook.  At one time I would have not really cared one way or the other, but she is AWESOME on The Americans on FX.  Good for her.

Yeah thought it was wierd I have been watching the american's religiously since it started and now she's cast in this. I really think this is going to be a great flick after Rise I'm interested to see where they go.

I wonder if she might possibly play Caesar's ape-queen-bich??

lol violator, that's 2 times in one morning you made me lol. Feel free to call it a day :)

Yeah this film is shaping up nicely. I've been digging all the casting additions so far.

I wonder if Franco and/or Pinto will come back here or in the next or if we're to assume they died in the plague

Never been a fan of Planet of the Apes; I caught Rise on Redbox.  It's moderately entertaining.  I think the cast for the sequel is much stronger than Rise.  I think I'll catch it in the theatre if it's getting some positive buzz when released.

I saw the first two episodes of The Americans and they were really good but I dropped the show.  I just cant bring myself to root for Soviet spies.  Fuck them, I wanted them to be caught by their FBI agent neighbor.  Its weird cause I'll root for mob bosses, corrupt cops, meth dealing teachers, biker gangs but I draw the line at Soviiet spies.

I loved the first movie so I'll certainly be there for this sequel. I've never seen The Americans but it seems to be a hit with alot of people. My DVR is too damn full already and I don't want to squeeze another show in. Russel seems to have been out of sight for a long while but is back on radar with this show and now this. Did she take time off for babies?

Hanso, I feel the same way about cat jugglers! Eeef 'em! And the horses they rode in on, too!

I think that some of the humans who survive the plague their brains are damaged to the point they've become little better that animals themselves. And with each sucessive generation humans devolve a little farther in intelligence until apes get to where they were in the original Planet of the Apes.
