The Kerrang! Awards 2005 - nominations announced
By: Randall LarsonDate: Tuesday, August 16, 2005
This year's Kerrang! Awards, an annual event presented by the long-running British music publication, have been announced. Seven of the Awards are voted for by the readers of Kerrang! Magazine and users of Kerrang.com (voting closes on the 22nd August); the best video award is voted for by the viewers of Kerrang! TV and a few special awards are argued over furiously by the Kerrang! team.
The 12th Annual Kerrang! Awards take place on the 25th August at a secret central London location. This year the show will be presented by that international superstar frontwoman of high-voltage rockers Juliette and the Licks - Juliette Lewis. She will be accompanied by UK Cable TV comedian, Stuart Cable, who presented last year's Kerrang! Awards.
Green Day and System of a Down are leading the Kerrang award nominations with five each. My Chemical Romance are close behind with four and the Foo Fighters have three.
