to no one but maverickrenegade, yeah, Tarantino is a pompous, arrogant, self-centered egomaniacal dick head, but he's also a great fuckin' filmmaker. They can't all be Pulp Fiction, but that doesn't make 'em bad films. IN MY OPINION both Bills were great. I like two more than one probably because I felt it developed things better. Jackie Brown was a little lower key then Pulp or Dogs, but wonderful. It was his adaptation of someone else's work as opposed to his original idea. Over-the-top films usually put me off but Tarantino knows how to make a great, outrageous film. I may be in the minority but I loved Grindhouse and Deathproof was the better of the two main attractions. And metalwater - Kurt Russell cryin' at the end was brilliant :) that last part wasn't for mav/ren

I'll be honest; KB hasn't been at the top of my list of films to see. It's on the list, to be sure, and I will get to it eventually. That said, I do enjoy QT's style. He can make a fun film, and that's what really matters. Lots of quotable quotes and unforgettable scenes.

I love Tarantino and all of his work. Kill Bill is great for what it is: an homage to kung-fu grind films. And it works perfectly, just as Jackie Brown was a great homage to Blacksploitation films of the 70's. While I'd like to see Tarantino go on to do different films with different stories, I wouldn't be heart broken to see Kill Bill 3&4. But, honestly, I'd much rather see him get work done on "Inglorious Bastards".

What about the "extended" fight sequence between Bill and Beatrix at the end of Pt II? Will that be in there???

I may not be on the same level as some who post here. It's seems a lot of you are prob film students (and know what/who an auteur is lol). Me..., I just really like movies, I can tell bad acting from good, notice plot holes, and generally my opinions about movies are on even keel with most of you (most of the time haha). I don't know where i am going with that other than to say here's my opinion take it for what it is.....QT has had "his movies" such as Bill 1 & 2, Res Dogs, Pulp, Jackie Brown. But don't forget movies that he wrote, or helped write, such as Dusk till Dawn, True Romance, Natural Born Killers, and Uncredited rewrites for Crimson Tide and the Rock. Like him or not that is a pretty impressive list of movies to create or help create by anyone's standards.

MIKWOZ, you go to film school as well as any of us and it is called your local movie theater. ;-)

Mikwoz beat me to it. I was gonna mention that he wrote a lot of movies too. Of all the projects he has done, I think True Romance is my favorite. It was already in my mind with news of Gary Oldman's possible retirement. Remember the pimp/drug dealer character Oldman had in that? Also Tarantino co-directed one of the stories in Sin City.

This sounds like good news to me. I think more Kill Bill is unnecessary, but then so is the sundae after a delicious fast food meal.

I don't want to burst anyone's bubble, but the Hangzhou's City Express isn't exactly the most reliable source of news. They're more tabloid than that British tabloids, and have invented more than one story.

Why are so many people worried about Quentin's foot fetish in this post??? I think the Kill Bill's were awesome and really it wouldn't make a major impact if they did recast Black Mamba's daughter, unless you prefer to wait a decade for a sequel...
