The latest issue of Entertainment Weekly features two new images from this summer’s biggest blockbusters. Up first we have an image of Academy Award nominated Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.

The Plot: Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.
The Wolverine features Will Yun Lee, Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima, and Brian Tee.
The Wolverine arrives in theaters on July 26th, 2013.

Next up we have a tender moment from Iron Man 3 featuring Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow.

The Plot: Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/IronMan against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?
Iron Man 3 features Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley.
Iron Man 3 arrives on May 3rd, 2013

Whoa, really diggin' the new claws on Wolvie

Where the eff is the trailer for Wolverine anyway?

When more publicity stills start hitting the web a trailer is usually not far behind.

Imagine how much more the dynamic of Iron Man's helmet would change, if that mouth part was a smile instead of a scowl-look. LOL!!! Idk, but that is funny to me......

Maybe this is outside of this site's purview but

yesterday WB won it's appeal against the Siegels over the fight for Superman. Meaning the Siegels won't gain any control partial or fully  of Superman as they were scheduled to later this year.

WB has now won the fight over both the Shuster and Siegel's estates and it looks like Supes will remain in its one and only home for the forseeable future

Gotta agree with Wiseguy, I have always thought from the first X-men movie that Wolvies claws were too wide and cubersom. These look more sleek and comic book -like. Especially in the last Wolerine movie, they looked like huge machettes attached to his hands.  As a side note, having seen and heard more about this movie, my hopes are up. They sound like they are trying to capture what Wolverine is about in this try. However, as before studios talk a good game only to fall flat in the execution. Time will tell. Looking forward regardless.

I'm still disapointed that Aronofsky won't be directing Wolvie, that would have been interesting.  Even if Brett Ratner directed it, it would have to be better than Origins though.  Not loving the color scheme for the new Iron Man suit but the plot sounds good, definitely seeing IM3 on opening weekend. @Wise, that is interesting about WB and the Supes rights; it feels a little like handing the keys for a ferrari to a teeneager: it could be fun but it could easily turn into a catastrophe.  Do you know where they stand on the rights for the other JL characters?  Don't know if they sold them off without forsight like Marvel did or if WB retains the rights to all of DC's characters for features.

I agree, I'm still bummed Aronofsky isn't directing, but I'm excited about the next Wolverine flick. Especially knowing that the main story take place after X3. This opens up so much more possibilities and I'm excited they did that.

I don't believe any of the other JL characters are in copyright dispute. DC/Warners completely owns them outright. In retaining all rights to Supes the circle is complete.

Speaking of Superman and the JL movies, I just saw on some celebrity website MoS actor Henry Cavill is now dating Gina Carano. Could that mean she is a shoe-in for WW?
