I wish Kilmer would go back to roles we actually want to see him in. He picks the weirdest roles now. Top Secret, Top Gun, Willow, Real Genius, he will never top those for me. But he could try.

This sounds unbelievably lame. What happened to Val?

Willow and Real Genius are classics. I haven't seen Top Gun for a long time, wonder if I'd still like it.

As for this, sounds really freaky and like something I'll wait for the dvd and then never actually rent because I'll lose interest in it long before it ever comes out and then I'll see it and think oh yeah what about that, but then I'll want to see something else instead and then years later I'll catch 10 minutes of it on TV and then flip to something else when the next commercial comes on.

Kind of reminds me of awake, but with a different plot if that makes sense to anyone. I dont know about this yet until I check out the trailer.

Kilmer ran his career to the ground by being a prima donna and an asshole to people. I still like a lot of his stuff. He was awesome in Tombstone and was really good in quite a few films. Too bad when your ego gets the best of you.

This reminds me a lot of Invisible. Set amount of time to find his body to save himself and so on. Same bullshit we've seen before or at least "like" a lot of bullshit we've seen before.

Of course you will still like it, it's Top Gun. "I feel the need, the need for speed!"

Last good thing I saw Val Kilmer in was in Entourage.
Can't believe any of you jokers didn't mention Heat! Now that's some good shit.

I liked him in Spartan as well

I liked him better when he wasn't fat. Maybe that's what really killed his career.

This does have a similar feel as Invisible and Ghost but it will all come down to execution.

What? Nobody liked Kilmer in Batman Forever?

Anyone?...Anyone?...Bueller?

He was OK as Batman. Does anybody remember why he only did 1 bat-movie? I forgot.
