Deep in the basement of the college he lurks. Taking every opportunity he can to peep into the women's locker room. He's "The Letch" and even though he's supposed to be cleaning up the school, all he does is make everyone feel dirty...The Review!
Some families you just can't keep down and every time you think you've hit the worst of the bunch there's one more there to be heard from.Audio:
For our primary viewing session, we listened to this show in its original language of Japanese. The show has a pretty standard adult fare stereo mix to it with most of the show being dialogue so that's fairly center channel based as it is, though the music and some of the ambient effects and squoosh sounds come from the left or right channels. We listened to both tracks on this release and dialogue on both of them is clean and clear throughout and we had no problems with dropouts or distortions during regular playback.Video:
Originally released to video back in 2002, the transfer for the two OVAs on this release is clean and clear and problem free. These essentially look to be a direct port of the Japanese release sans the mosaic (in the show itself; the episode preview which is really just an advertisement as well keeps the mosaics) and looks great throughout. Colors are solid without being too saturated or bleeding, cross coloration and aliasing is non-existent and there are no gradient issues with the wide bands of color used throughout. This is a very eye-pleasing transfer from the start to finish, which retains the original Japanese credits and provides a translated batch afterwards.Packaging:
Providing an idea of the wide range of girls available on this release, the front cover lets Kisaku grab at them from the side with one main image while letting his photographs fall around him that showcase some of the others. Much like the show itself, the cover has some good looking strong colors and a layout that works well for teasing and keeping things hidden just right and making you want more. The back cover continues with the blue and yellow coloring style and drops in a number of other photographs as well as some separate illustration work of one of the girls. The shows summary is minimal but that's standard for a show like this and the discs production and technical information is all clearly listed and easy to find.Menu:
The menu layout uses the top image from the front cover of Kisaku and his girl for the static image and puts a blue band down the right side where the series logo is as well as the selections for it, all set to some pulse-pounding instrumental music that's occasionally interrupted by some camera flash sounds. The menu layout is very simple and fairly standard for Kitty releases these days; it looks good but doesn't have anything special to it. Access times are nice and fast and the menus easy to navigate. The disc also correctly read our players' language presets and played without issue.Extras:

Back when some of the other related Elf properties came out, there was a deluge of school shows where you could always say that "The Janitor did it!" and you'd probably be right. The creepy old janitorial staff concept of having him being extremely perverted and doing what he pleases is something that's permeated around the world but whereas in the US the janitor is either a demon or some secretly heroic person, the adult anime world has the janitor pegged as a master pervert, one who understands the true delicacy that is a school-age girl.
With Kisaku, we're introduced to Kisaku Ito, the brother of two men who we've seen in the Shusaku and Isaku series that's trying to not live his life in exactly the same way as his brothers. While he's a master photographer, he's spent his time on nature magazines and doing wild nature shoots. But after some unfortunate incident (which the dub claims involved a llama), he's destitute for the moment but always on the lookout. He's tried his time at some of the skin mags but what they want and what he wants to shoot are just incompatible. So he spends his time walking the streets, being homeless but still getting his jollies with some of the latest technologies possible.
Early on we see him make his new prey in the form of a high school girl in which he thinks could be the kind of girl that would be perfect for him. Saving her from a couple of amateur street predators, she's almost ready to thank him before he joins in and shows them how to do it right. This starts the spiral where he continues to take advantage of her, even bringing her home to her father and going on about how he's saved her only to drug her father and take her virginity right there in front of his passed out body. He's able to worm his way into the girls life and eventually gets into some of her friends but he also makes an interesting twist.
Since he got friendly with her father and he's somewhat up on the corporate ladder, he's had his plum little assistant " who he's sleeping with on the side " go out into the field to help Kisaku get a job. Kisaku doesn't want one and his appearance keeps him from it but the situation leads him to eventually taking down the assistant as well, which makes things at her office get even more complicated and brings about more women that get thrown Kisaku's way so that he leaves others alone. For a rather ugly looking man with bad hygiene and awful clothing choices, he's able to get some the freshest and sweetest looking women that are out there. Of course, his relatives had the same ability so there must be something in the family but still.
Much like Shusaku, the character designs here for the girls are very attractive and well animated, there's no real noticeable cutbacks in the animation quality as it plays out and they don't look to have cut corners with bad repetition or worse. Their designs are very attractive and they're played with well throughout, from the teasing scenes with blowing wind to the hardcore stuff itself. Unfortunately there's a bit of scat involved in these episodes but it's brief and not as disturbing as some other shows but there's enough that it'll freak out some people. Barring that, the sex scenes themselves are solid and plenty enjoyable depending on your tastes. In Summary:
While Shusaku was interesting at first and Isaku was just plain bad in a lot of ways, Kisaku's got a bit more of a sense of humor about it since it's not trying to be an adult horror show but rather just a really perverted brother of the others who will go to interesting lengths to get the girls he's after. No keeping himself to just schoolgirls, Kisaku plays the field well and manages to manipulate many people to his needs during this and other than a couple of brief scat moments, this is a bit of fun to watch with some good regular sex scenes with very pretty characters. I'm curious to see where it'll go.
