Are JERICHO Nuts Getting to CBS? - Jun 06, 2007 - 12:10pm
I hope this comes back. It was the only new sci-fi show last season that wasn't a glossy, pretentious mess. And it had heart! At the very least it would make for some kick-butt TV movies or miniseries similiar to those Jessi Stone pics they do with Tom Selleck that comes out every year or so. If they are worried about the cast they could definetly slim it down... just keep Skeet for sure. I say they do a few shocking deaths... like the mom... to spice things up. And really get into wrapping up the Hawkings stuff right out of the gate. I still can't believe it was cancelled with all the plot threads still on the table!!

Damn, we seriously have to wait 9 months until we see what happens next!! I'm excited about the flash-forwards being mixed into the show with the flash-backs... I just hope Jack can somehow correct the "mistake" so they don't end up in such a bad place once they leave the island. I don't even know how that would be possible unless the writers throw in the time-travel element... hmmm maybe Jack could somehow get Desmond to do it with all his mysterious powers?? Also, Jack should go looking for Michael if he wants to find the island again because didn't Michael get directions to and from the island when he escaped with Walt at the end of season 2? It was interesting to see that Jack basically ends up as his father after leaving the island. And what about Kate... is she still a fugitive? Is the person she has to "get back to" Sawyer? So many captivating questions! How well done was the Charlie death scene!?! Also, loved the part where Sawyer just straight up capped Mr. Friendly and then cooly said "I didn't believe him." Sawyer is going to be awesome next year as he struggles over killing the real Sawyer and possibly being a father with Kate. My question is does his other child -- Clementine -- factor into anything in a revelant way? I hope so because that was kind of a weird thing to introduce otherwise. But otherwise what a great year and what a great season-ender!

Awesome episode. Though I know she isn't dead, it would be a good way for Chloe to go out. They had to do something with her because she isn't around in the post-Smallville superman world and having her assume a new identity or go crazy sounded lame. And just killing her wouldn't be surprising, but in the context of her saving Lois it somehow was. And now Lois can pick up the pieces and take on Chloe's reporter mantle in her honor -- maybe start investigating something Chloe was secretly looking into when she suddenly died. But if Chloe does come back to life it would be cool if the writers set up the drain this power takes on her and maybe she uses it all (and dies) saving Clark later next season. Other than that, this episode really packed a punch and did a nice job with all the elements and was really focused with the characters. This is how a superhero show sould be done! The Lionel stuff really works great, how he is more father to Clark now then Lex. I like the idea of Clark's mom going to Washington. Excited to see when Lana comes back into the picture (no way is she dead with that truck driving by before the bomb went off). Bizarro Superman was great, too! Looking forward to next year.
