The Review!
While this video had to be edited from the original Japanese version, it is still enjoyable to watch. I would like to state, that this is just my first impression of the DVD, from the short time I was able to watch it at my local Anime store.

The video is well done, but not nearly as good as some of the other Anime releases on DVD. Of course, this could also have been due to the DVD player I was using to watch it (a friends Apex AD600A.)

I can't really comment much on the sound since we were only able to watch it on a stereo television that we have at the store.

Include on this disc is an art gallery, story boards, and trailers for their other Anime Works titles. Regretfully, there doesn't seem to be any dub outtakes like in the Ninja Cadets DVD (I REALLY wanted those...)

The story board has several scenes where it will play the finished scene while showing the story boards along the side. It's very interesting being able to compare them.

The trailers include their Anime Works shows with those titles that have been released on DVD marked as being available on DVD, and two shows marked as "Coming Soon to DVD." This does include a surprise previously unannounced title... SHINESMAN!!!!

As for the menu. Everything loaded quickly and was easy to navigate. There were not any flashy special effects, or voice overs as some other companies have done, but overall a nice menu.

For packaging. Everyone has seen the cover artwork (worth getting this disc for that alone...)

As for the show itself. I have loved this film since the first time I watched it. While I understand that the video has been edited, it's still an amazing video to watch, and will be a great addition to my own collection when I finally get my own copy in.
