Knight Shift

How do you follow up one of the most acclaimed superhero stories of all time 15 years after it made comic book history? It's simple when you're that epic's original creator, Frank Miller, that is.

"Oh, it's a suicide mission," jokes Miller, with a hint of seriousness. He knows that expectations are running very high on his new three-part Batman series THE DARK KNIGHT STRIKES AGAIN, a sequel to his celebrated 1986 miniseries THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS. Fans may have hoped and dreamed, but they could never have known that one of the medium's most respected writer/artists would return to the character he redefined in such a powerful way all those years ago.
