Kodi McPhee Hits THE ROAD With Viggo

Young Actor Kodi Smit-McPhee, who was recently cast as a younger version of Logan in the Wolverine prequel, will also be starring opposite Viggo Mortensen in THE ROAD. The Hollywood Reporter says he's playing the son of the actor on their road trip through a post-apocalyptic wasteland, which is based on Cormac McCarthy's Pulitzer Prize winning novel. Charlize Theron rounds up the cast as Viggo's wife in the film. 2929 Productions, Nick Wechsler Productions and Chockstone Pictures are producing.

Plot Concept: The tale of a monthslong journey, between father (Mortensen) & son (McPhee), across a barren U.S. landscape after a cataclysmic event destroyed most of life on Earth.
