We have yet another confirmation for Resident Evil: Retribution from the tweetverse today as actor Boris Kodjoe confirmed to his followers and fans that he's set to return in the fifth installment of the profitable franchise. The actor who played Luther West in 2010's Resident Evil: Afterlife reported that's set to join the production currently gearing up in Toronto under the directorial guidance of Paul W.S. Anderson.

"Ok, Resident Evil fans," he Tweeted, " [Milla Jovovich] and myself are up here in Toronto getting ready for RE5 More action than ever!!!"

The tweet comes a day after Colin Salmon confirmed to fans that he would be returning to the character of One, the team leader we last saw in the laser sequence in the original installment.

Previous stars Ali Larter and Wentworth Miller will likely be returning to play the Redfields as well but neither have been confirmed at this point. Director Paul W.S. Anderson will once again be directing, based on a script he wrote.

Resident Evil: Retribution flies into theaters September 14, 2012.

I wonder if he thinks Anderson has written "an amazing script" just like Colin Salmon claimed.

I don't care what anyone says.....these movies are meant to be just fun popcorn movies not EPIC storyline driven movies. You guys need to just see that and let it be. I love all the movies for what they are and meant to be. You don't like them? Don't watch them.

Wolfman X >>>>>> you have hit it right on the head with your comment.  If these movies are sooooo terrible then why are we up to #5!?!  Look sometimes I want to sit and watch "Lawrence of Arabia" and sometimes I want to watch "Deep Blue Sea".  It all depends on my mood and I can accept a movie for what it is.  Obviously I am a Transformers fan and I have loved all three movies because I got to see what I wanted to see.  Its my money and if the studio can get me to part with it so be it!!!

It's just icing on the cake if Ali Larter comes back

I don't understand the people that come on a website dedicated to movie lovers and then leave comments and/or official movie reviews that make it clear that they don't like movies, as a medium, anyways.

Thank you MrOptimusPrime which in side note is the BEST TRANSFORMER LEADER IN THE WHOLE TRANSFORMERS GENERATIONS!!!!

And Wallyrus I agree......I dislike movies too, but I always notice I see people write on this post and 90% do more bashing on movies then giving credit to it.
