Tim Kring, creator of HEROES, has given some candid interviews to Entertainment Weekly and TV Guide where he discusses problems with Season 2 so far and what we can expect from the future of the show. He also apologizes to the fans who may not have liked the beginning of this second season. While talking to Entertainment Weekly, he touched upon a few subjects...
THE PACE IS TOO SLOW ''We assumed the audience wanted season 1 — a buildup of intrigue about these characters and the discovery of their powers. We taught [them] to expect a certain kind of storytelling. They wanted adrenaline. We made a mistake.''
THE WORLD-SAVING STAKES SHOULD HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED SOONER The premonition of nuclear apocalypse created a larger context that unified every story line last season. Kring now sees that Volume 2 (the first 11 episodes of season 2) would have been better served if Peter's vision of viral Armageddon had appeared in the season premiere rather than episode 7. ''We took too long to get to the big-picture story,'' he says.
THE ROOKIES DIDN'T GREET THEMSELVES PROPERLY New Heroes Monica (Dana Davis), Maya (Dania Ramirez), and Alejandro (Shalim Ortiz) ''shouldn't have been introduced in separate story lines that felt unattached to the show. The way we introduced Elle (Kristen Bell) — by weaving her in via Peter's story line — is a more logical way to bring new characters into the show.'' (That said, Kring says a few newbies won't make it beyond this second volume, which wraps Dec. 3.)

I hope you read this feedback,
NO NEED TO APOLOGIZE! I love season 2. I love the build up, and the payoff. The suspense and pacing is what makes me crave for more after the end credits roll. PLEASE PLEASE, don't listen to everyone who has attention deficit disorder. NOT EVERYONE wants, an action show.with no story. If they were looking for that, The Bionic Woman is on Wednesdays.
The last episode made everything that happened worth while, AND the building of a quality story has set the stage for an epic season. I loved th feudal japan storyline, and loved it more after Adam was revealed to be Kensei. If the suspense hadn't been done properly (AS YOU DID IT) the last episode wouldn't have meant SH*T!
They way the twins are interacting an d have been introduced as a devise to bring Sylar back to NYC IS SWEET. I am yelling at the TV every time I see Sylar "F YOU SYLAR" you have me and my girlfriend talking to the characters like they will be able to heed our warnings about Sylar.
PLEASE DON'T LISTEN TO THE MAINSTREAM PUBLIC WITH NO ATTENTION SPAN. REMEMBER THE PUBLIC PUT BUSH IN THE WHITE HOUSE THEY ARE NOT ALWAYS RIGHT.
I"M A FAN AND I DON'T WANT ANYTHING TO CHANGE
I GIVE SEASON 2 an A+++++++++++++
