Yet another addition to Chapter 2 of HEROES which hits Nbc next month. The latest new casting is sought after actress, Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars, Pulse), who will be playing a very key multiple episode arc for creator Tim Kring & Co. She'll be playing a character named Elle who is sexy and mysterious according to sources. Her character will be important to the backstory of Peter, H.R.G's past and Claire's future. Nobody is saying whether she will be good or a villain in the new season arc.

"This was not easy to pull off," said "Heroes" creator-executive producer Tim Kring. "But since we're an ensemble show, with many arcs playing out through the year, we found a way to jump into a small window in (Bell's) schedule."

This casting news comes just 4 days after Hollywood Reporter told us BRATZ star, Janel Parrish, will be joining the cast as the head cheerleader at Claire's new school. It comes just a week and a half after Nichelle Nichols (Uhura on Star Trek: The Original Show) was cast as a grandmother to a new character (newcomer Dana Davis' "Monica" character) also appearing in the next season..

HEROES starts "Chapter 2" on September 24, 2007 on NBC.

I saw the teaser of Sunday Night Football and now I can't wait for the new season to start. From the trailers (and of course, trailers can make garbage look good). it looks like NBC might have some good genre shows this year.

Can't freakin' wait and this is more great news. Heroes is really getting a ton of momentum heading into season 2. However, do they introduce any characters that aren't sexy and mysterious, lol?

I think it's easier if we say who isn't going to be in season 2.

This show is attracting serious talent. I'm already sold on the next season, but the addition of Bell sweetens the pot even further!

I just wanted to let you all know that I will NOT be appearing in Chapter 2 of Heroes. It was a difficult decision, but since the creators of the show didn't call me (and probably have no idea of my existence), a deal could not be struck. I will, however, continue working on nothing of interest, and look forward to watching the new season of Heroes.

I'm really happy for Kristen Bell. With those rumors that she was going to be on LOST and then turned it down. I guess, she wanted to be on HEROES more.

I have never watched Bell in anything. I saw her spread in Maxim last year, She IS HOT AS BALLS!, but (This is a llegit question, I just wanna know) Is she a good actress, will she bring anything to the series? I know a lot of people like her Veronica Mars show, so I 'm wonderin' is she worth extra hype story wise or is she another hottie hero?(which isn't a bad thing)

saweeeeet... dude !! whats mine say !!!... she will be a nice addition to the show and damn if everyone aint being added - maybe we can get sarah michelle gellar or possibly Xander harris to join the show
