SANTA MONICA, CA – The only Japanese rock band to ever headline a US stadium show, L’Arc~en~Ciel are larger than life in Asia. The charismatic rockers began as independent trendsetters in Japan and rose to multi-platinum status, selling over 34 million recordings over the past decade. The excitement and energy of L’Arc~en~Ciel is captured on the double DVD LIVE IN U.S.A. slated for a May 31, 2005 release date on TOFU RECORDS.
LIVE IN U.S.A. follows L’Arc~en~Ciel during their appearance on July 31, 2004 at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, MD and includes interview footage from their press conference held at Otakon 2004. An intimate glimpse into the lives of Japan’s favorite rockers, LIVE IN U.S.A. focuses on what the band does best: rock out. L’Arc~en~Ciel perform hits such as “Ready Steady Go”, “Spirit dreams inside” and “Driver’s High” in front of 12,000 screaming American fans. Additionally, LIVE IN U.S.A. includes a bonus DVD of their hit “Revelation” recorded live in Japan.
