LaBeouf Back in Action for TRANSFORMERS 2

The tabloid rumors that Shia LaBeouf would be away from the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen for a month seem to be untrue. Film School Rejects and ET are both reporting that Shia LaBeouf is coming back onto the set today, a few weeks earlier than reported. The actor was involved in a July 27 crash with co-star Isabel Lucas and had to undergo hand surgery as a result.

Reportedly, the studio lost two days of production before Bay and actors worked around their schedule to film alternative scenes with his co-stars while Shia was on the mend. The upcoming sequel co-stars Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Isabel Lucas, Rainn Wilson and Jennifer Alden. Bay is directing again, based on a screenplay by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Ehren Kruger.

There are rumors that we can expect our first teaser trailer look at the sequel attached to Paramount and DreamWork's next Shia-led film Eagle Eye, which hits theaters September 26, 2008. These haven't been confirmed but when (or if) it is, we'll pass it along.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will hit standard and IMAX theaters June 26, 2009.

I never get sick of looking at that pic of Megan Fox, thanks Jarrod.
Dazzler, LeBeouf is the new DiCaprio. Get used to it. In 5 years he'll be in awesome movies like The Departed and then we won't hear a peep from you.

Dazzler...You sound like a fricken broken record...It's just you hate yourself for getting a hard on every time you see him which leads you hate on him because y0u hate yourself, you know where I am going with that...jealousy gets you know where in life man, so just give up already and play a new tune...

Well, I hope he goes the DeCaprio route and not the Lindsey Lohan route. I mean, hes a kid, he is gonna drink and do stupid shit, All kids do. Only difference is that he is in the public eye and his actions could make or break his career. Eagle Eye looks pretty bad ass and would love to see a teaser for Transformers 2.

Does no one else care that his frakked up actions frak with other people besides him? If the film were put on hiatus, the crew (and I'm talking all the below-the-line people who bust their asses to make movies happen, not the fraktards like bay and the higher ups) gets financially frakked hard in their frakking frakholes.

"Does no one else care that his frakked up actions frak with other people besides him?"

Did YOU happen to read the news reports? Yes, he was charged with SUSPICION of DUI, and I wouldn't try to excuse that, but the accident wasn't his fault. The other driver was charged with running the light, so if Shia had been stone-sober, a passenger, or even drunk and passed out in the back seat, the SAME THING could have happened. He didn't plow his car into a pole or something stupid, he was hit, and he was the victim in the accident. That's not fan-boy excuse-making, that's the fact of the case.

So how 'bout ya check some facts before accusing someone of not caring or thinking about other folks, hey?

Damn Skippy! And the driver wanted him to leave once he found out who he was but Shia stayed to face the music. That sounds like a responsible thing to do.

"wah, wah! it's not Shia's fault! he's too cute to be at fault! let's fabricate some news reports to make it sound like it's not his fault!"

quit yer warcryin'!

I used to hate Shia for no reason but I let that go and now I find myself enjoying his films even more. The kid has talent and I hope that this close call helps him get his shit together.

Studios won't give a drunk or a druggie too many chances on big budget projects like this so I hope he learned his lesson.

Also glad he's back working, one news report made it seem like he was going to need several months to heal.

The responsible thing to do would've been not drive while under the influence!!!!

Let's start placing our bets for the next Shia incident. I got him being busted again in less than a year, anyone else?
