It seems that director D.J Caruso and actor Shia LaBeouf hit it off well during their teamwork on Disturbia. According to Variety, the director is looking for Shia to lead the cast for his next feature film, EAGLE EYE. The film centers around a young man and single mother who are framed as terrorists and forced to become members of a cell with plans to carry out a political assassination. Dreamworks will be distributing the film.

I'm curious on the time frame for this film. Shia is currently filming INDIANA JONES 4.

Grrrr... god damn... working at his managing firm, I wish I was allowed to say something here, but I'm not.

BryanWay...Should we give you a blue ribbon for working at his managing firm?

We will see how this one turns out...I'm not sure if I can handle another Terrorist/Political assassination movie...

Is it me or this Shia LaBeouf trend smack of a deal with Satan scenario? This guy looks like Screech-lite from "Saved by the Bell" and his acting chops were made on the Disney channel. I don't get it. There are other far more deserving actors...why him?

He must be good enough, if Spielberg is putting him in the fourth Indy movie. But will this movie by like Sleeper Cell, the series on Showtime?

Is there any movie this kid isn't attached to? He's everywhere. I thought he was great in Disturbia.

We'll see how things change after the Transformers release. His star may be on the rise for some time, or it could lose a little luster, depending on his performance in this film (more so than Disturbia).

been saying it for years... the kid is the next tom hanks. he can act, and he has a star appeal. (not brad pitt, but the everyman star thing.)

battle of shaker heights was great. disturbia was great. transformers is a no-brainer. and indy4? c'mon. he's a big star and he (get this) CAN ACT and do comedy.

can't wait 'til next wednesday.

Mlaforcer... no, but judging from that attitude, I should give anybody who has to deal with on a regular basis a blue ribbon.
