Hanso, have you forgotten the Rebel Pilot in Return of the Jedi?
Nothing is official with the big three yet. Hamill, Ford, and Fisher have all said they wished to return to the Star Wars franchise, but no deal or official word has surfaced. Many of you Maniacs keep asking about Billy Dee Williams and his Lando Calrissian. Billy Dee Williams appeared at Monster Mania in New Jersey last weekend and had this brief note to say about his appearance in the next trilogy.
“Billy Dee said, he has been asked, but hasn’t decided if he is going to do it or not yet” - Film Buff Online.
Of course we have to say, what?
Billy Dee Williams will be 76 this year and perhaps age has caught up to the old scoundrel. Then again he could just be under contract and not allowed to say anything. I remember see Leonard Nimoy at convention in New Jersey and he had “no idea” who would play the new Spock. Within a day or two it was announced. Yeah, he knew.
We’ll keep watching Maniacs, 2015 is just around the corner.

The last time I saw Billy Dee was in an episode of Modern Family... He looked old (as he is).
Maybe one of the main themes of these new movies is taking place in a Galactic Retirement Community, where Han, Leia, Luke and what the hell, why not the entire cast of the first three movies, talk about their glory days of battling the empire.

Billy Dee must return to be the only black guy in the galaxy.
