As someone who has been watching for years upon years, I'm getting a little tired of the last bunch of seasons being about the doctor and companions.  Originally (and I mean for decades) it was about great stories that the doctor and companions fell into.  Now it is about the doctor and companions lives, and the stories are just a medium.

The book was great, but not an action story.  Brad Ptt's character in the book was never near any action, he just got stories after the war was over. Unfortunately, I don't thin this will work as well putting him into each of the stries lke this seems to.  The stories are recounts from all over the world and across a good deal of time.

Unfortunately, Strangers on a Train, as well as many other Hitchcock must haves, are not part of the collection...  Ah well...

This looks just as good as that western with Will Smith... great flick!

This sounds almost like an American version of Torchwood, which would not necessarily be a bad thing.
