What They Say
LAST EXILE has completely blown away fans and critics alike with breathtaking visuals, captivating storylines, and sensational music. Don the headphones and experience the majestic sense of aerial exhilaration effortlessly combined with aurally stunning music found in 'LAST EXILE Original Soundtrack 2.'

Over a flight course of 20 tracks are five new vocal songs (including a new version of the ending song, 'Over the Sky') and 15 evolving instrumentals by Dolce Triade, free-flowing with symphonic grace and atmospheric warmth. No 'LAST EXILE' anime collection will be complete without the amazing CD soundtracks!

The Review!
4 out of 5
Music found in Last Exile.

This CD also comes with a five-page insert. The First page sports beautiful artwork from the game. Next page is the song title listings. Up next, and inclusive of the next two pages are both English and Japanese lyrics to the vocals. Last are the Credits for the Game, as well, as the CD.

This one also wows with instrumentals performed by the group Dolce Triade, this CD is very beautiful. The more Celtic feeling that the music produces transports you away to another world of adventure and fantasy. You could easily listen to the instrumentals of this one and imagine yourself in the middle of a green Ireland field.

But don;t think for a moment that the vocals aren?t just as good as the instrumentals, because they are truly inspiring as well. Shuntaro Okino, whose seems to be influential in the Last Exile, provides not only music, but also vocals to this CD. Hitomi Kuroishi also lends writing talent that is beyond compare to this CD, with a voice to match. Both Okino and Kuroishi seem to have limited their work to this CD, but I for one am waiting with baited breath for them to appear on another CD. The vocals they produce for this CD are haunting and reach right into the listener for a moving experience.

I'd have to say a great CD all around, beautiful, haunting, and just down right just as listenable as the first one.
