Nearly two months after showing American audiences the first trailer for their action tale Drive Angry 3D, Summit Entertainment has revealed a new U.K. version. Bleeding Cool passed it along and you can check it out down below. We'll also repost the original U.S. based trailer (revealed back in October) so you can compare and contrast. Shot under the direction of horror helmer Patrick Lussier---the man who's currently directing Halloween III for Dimension before moving onward to a planned Hellraiser remake---this action film stars Nicolas Cage, William Fichtner, Amber Heard, Billy Burke, Simona Williams and Katy Mixon. Lussier wrote the script with fellow writer Todd Farmer.

Plot Concept: "Drive Angry 3D" stars Nicolas Cage as Milton, a hardened felon who has broken out for one last chance at redemption. Hell bent on stopping a vicious cult of fanatics who murdered his daughter, he has three days to stop them before they sacrifice his infant granddaughter beneath a full moon. Milton must use his anger to go beyond all human limits in order to save his last connection with humanity.

He's joined by Piper, a young sexy-smart waitress who liberates her ex-boyfriend's cherry red muscle car in order to help Milton. Now, the two of them are hot on the trail of the charismatic Jonah King and his murderous followers. King will throw every one of them faithful under the wheels of Milton's turbo-charged Black '71 Challenger, to fulfill hist destiny and unleash hell on earth.

Drive Angry 3D will roll into 3D/2D theaters February 25, 2011.

Here's the original U.S.-based trailer revealed in October.

I think this looks like a lot of fun. Til a couple of weeks back I did not realize this was a supernatural action/thriller. Reminds me abit of Ghost Rider on 4 wheels and without the powers.

I don't see much difference between the trailers other than a little tighter editing in the UK one.  Am I missing something?

Overall, it looks okay, but I'm sorta over Nic Cage at this point.  Unless I see some new trailer or hear rave reviews, I'll just wait til it's on cable to see it.

I've seen enough trailers for this movie to know I won't be catching it in theaters.

Nic Cage sucks.

hmm, Ghost Rider meets Gone in 60 Seconds.  The story seems more-than-a-bit out there, but the trailer seems interesting.  It's got my attention.

Come on,,,this is Cage at his best....I love Nic Cage,,,,granted, sometimes he's pretty bad, but it all depends on the director,,,,he was AWESOME in Kick-Ass...I love him when he's over-the-top....this looks like hella fun

Anything with my boy Fichtner in it as a bad guy, I'm there. Plus, the guy playing Jonah looks like the actor whom played the creepy dad in the second season of 24. He's h e l l a good at being bad as well.
