Walt Disney Pictures has revealed a new battle-focused TV spot for John Carter. Watch it in the video player down below. The adventure stars Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins, Samantha Morton, Mark Strong, Ciaran Hinds, Dominic West, James Purefoy, Daryl Sabara, Polly Walker, Bryan Cranston, Thomas Hayden Church and Willem Dafoe. Director Andrew Stanton led from behind the camera, based on a screenplay he wrote with Mark Andrews and Michael Chabon.
Plot Concept: The film tells the story of war-weary, former military captain John Carter (Taylor Kitsch), who is inexplicably transported to Mars where he becomes reluctantly embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions amongst the inhabitants of the planet, including Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and the captivating Princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins). In a world on the brink of collapse, Carter rediscovers his humanity when he realizes that the survival of Barsoom and its people rests in his hands.
John Carter arrives in 3D/2D/IMAX theaters March 9, 2012.

if the arena scene doesnt look just like attack of the clones..................any original ideas left in hollywood? this movie is star wars meets avatar.
This is looking better every time I see a trailer for it. That crawl-carrier thing looks cool. Plus airship battles massive land battles and monster mayhem. I'm there opening day.
