Another shot of Jennifer Lawrence in her Mystique makeup has appeared online courtesy of a fan website called JenniferLawrenceDaily (via SHH). Check out the new photo below as well as a previously-revealed (and official) screenshot of the actress sans the blue duds. 20th Century Fox's X-Men: First Class will also star James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, January Jones, Kevin Bacon, Nicholas Hoult, Caleb Landry Jones, Lucas Till, Edi Gathegi, Jason Flemyng, Oliver Platt, Morgan Lily, Zoe Kravitz and Bill Bilner. Helmer Vaughn (Kick-Ass, Layer Cake) led from the director's chair, based on a screenplay by Josh Schwartz, Jamie Moss, Ashley Miller, Zack Stentz and Jane Goldman.

Plot Concept: The prequel charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to prevent nuclear Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men.

X-Men: First Class hits June 3, 2011.

She is not as hot as Rebecca Romijn

ndahl 4/19/2011 12:44:01 AM

Uh oh. That looks bad.

jedi4sshield 4/19/2011 12:49:21 AM

Just like the previous X-men films I just don't understand why they had to go with all that crap on Mystiques face it detracts from any beauty what so ever. Keeping her plain ole blue is not only a no brainer but it remains faithful to the comics. It saves hours and hours of painstaking makeup that for lack of a better words is pointless. That and you would think the idiot executives would welcome saving some money on unnecessary spendatures.

madmanic999 4/19/2011 2:20:48 AM

I agree with jedi4shield, but I'm not panicing as it looks exactly like the Mystique from the original films so it only makes sense that she would look the same.

Im with you guys I reckon she looks way worse than RRS in the first ones. Her hair line is really freaky reminds me of some bad Star Trek villian. She can look however she wants so why choose pizza face, receding hairline, cracked boob ranga?

I understand I need to except mutants for what they really are but Mystique was never this ugly!

Maybe she isnt across her powers yet.

Whats with the Colosous gloves???

Wiseguy 4/19/2011 4:49:44 AM

Agree pretty much with all you guys. I especially didn't like the effect of her transformation. Still for some reason I'm expecting this to possibly be the best X film yet, call me an optimist I guess

HighFiveMan23 4/19/2011 5:14:30 AM

That's what we call a fivehead

CrazyCEO 4/19/2011 5:45:26 AM

Completely agree with you Wiseguy.  Not sure if it's the calibre of the actors involved or the look and feel of the trailers but I'm looking forward to it.  Having said that Patrick Stewart was in the last three and Ian Mcwhatshisface from LOTR and The Hobbit but still they left lacking that something.

What do you think has happened to Comic movie crossovers for them to up their game.  Was it IronMan, Batman, Spiderman? It was always going to be difficult with XMen because fans of one character are pissed because he/she/it aren't in it.

wessmith1966 4/19/2011 6:06:49 AM

While I'm not expecting much in terms of quality, the movie being a Fox product, I am looking forward to the film. I like the cast and the premise. I'm also one of those who never understood why Mystique's design for the films had all of the added texture to her skin and the transofrmation in the trailer looks a bit cheesy to me. I'm holding onto a slim hope that the movie's going to be good.

ddiaz28 4/19/2011 6:51:58 AM

I'm not bothered by the look of the skin.  still looks like the original.  The hairline freaks me out a bit though.  Looks like David Bowie or something.
