Why do people feel the need to point out what other movies/tv shows/books a new movie sounds like? Guess what! There will never be a new movie that doesn't have anything in common with something that has come before.

shutup nax37, you complain about ever single little thing that comes out for TDK and you have to nerve to tell me rag on me? I was being nice. It sounds exactly like one of Lost`s plot points.

I'm having a little trouble seeing Murphy as a grad student working in a scientific field. I keep thinking of Denise Richards in the bond film; just doesn't fit. Still, it's a good cast and Murphy's a decent actress, so I'll keep an open mind until I at least see a trailer. This kind of reminds me of Eureka on SciFi a little.

I just don't think I've ever posted complaints about Dark Knight news because I've liked all the things we've heard so far, including the rumors. I'm positive I don't complain about about every single little thing.

I wasn't even directly attacking ponyboy or anyone in particular. I was just saying that whenever a new movie is described, there's always someone who wants to talk about how it's an unoriginal idea, but it'd be impossible for a new movie to not have something in common with a story from the past. Simply pointing out a similar movie/book/tv show adds little to the conversation. It's like just posting "FIRST!"

This movie sounds like that ham I had last night for dinner. There, that's original.

It does look like an ok cast, even if it does include two scientologists.
