We still have well over a year before Columbia Pictures unleashes The Amazing Spider-Man into 3D theaters across the globe but Marvel comic legend Stan Lee is already ready to discuss the cameo that he's set to play in the upcoming reboot of the franchise. Watch it in the video player down below. Maniacs will know well that Lee features a cameo in many of Marvel's productions to date, only skipping out on a few properties.
"Amazing Spider-Man" will star Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen and Sally Field. Director Marc Webb was behind the camera, based on a screenplay by James Vanderbilt, Alvin Sargent and Steve Kloves.
Plot Concept: Based on the best-selling comic property, James Vanderbilt's script focuses on a teenager grappling with both contemporary human problems and amazing super-human crises.
The Amazing Spider-Man arrives in 3D/2D theaters July 3, 2012.
Oh yeah. I can picture that whole scene. It will be funny. My favorite cameo of his was the one in Blade: Trinity where he was Dracula's dentist. ... ... ... JUST KIDDING!!! LOL!!! I know he wasn't in any of the Blade movies. Actually, I can't really pick my favorite Stan Lee cameo, but I'll lean toward Thor (loved that one) and Hugh Hefner in Iron Man.
Some dude on the Marvel Movies page on Facebook made a comment once
"I'm sick of tired of Stan Lee cameos. Why are we forced to see him in Marvel movies?"
uh?
i had a bone to pick with this guy. If there is one guy who deserves a cameo it's Stan the man. If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't even be talking about cameos and Marvel movies. Stan deserves it. Nuff said!
Willie Lumpkin in FF was neat considering he was playing the role of an actual Marvel character.
Stan's a good guy. I had the fortune to see this first hand and the panel was a blast. I think he has every right to ham it up and have a blast doing cameos in the worlds he helped create. I still love his cameo in Mallrats. ;)
aegrant, you think your company firewall is bad. Mine lets me go to the main page and click on the links to stories, and then the next page loads, but only the background, NO CONTENT AT ALL!!!

God bless Stan Lee, I love the man and he's so right he is a ham
I wonder if that really is his cameo. I'll venture to guess that it is because he seemed so into it but it would be funny if it isn't.
