What's it about?

I think its about some sorta botanical toxin that infects humans and gives them ultraviolent behavior, causing them to kill themselves.

I like Leguizamo; this news is a plus.
rudewordsmith, it sure is a good thing no such compunds exist in real life. Imagine if a pro wrestler got his hands on some of that stuff?

Captmathman, I needed a good laugh. Thanks for supplying it for me.

And I'm with ya. When Leguizamo is on his A game, he's a damn fine actor. I think he'll do well with the part.

From the article:

Pic stars Mark Wahlberg as a man who takes his family on the run when a natural disaster threatens to end the world. Leguizamo plays his best friend.

Lensing starts next month in Philadelphia. Fox has scheduled a worldwide release date of Friday, June 13, 2008.

I have liked all of M. Nights' movies, even Lady In The Water....I mean every director is allowed one or two misfires. I love Leguizamo.....can do great drama (Romeo & Juliet, Summer of Sam) or comedy (The Pest, House of Buggin). Great additon to the cast.

Leguizamo...Perfect! BTW, Lady In The Water wasn't so bad. In relation: I was at a get together and the two top choices of DVD to watch was Lady In The Water, or The Notebook (a chick flick)...Lady In The Water, aaaaaaaalllllllll the way! LOL

LOVED!- The Lady in The Water, didn't even want to watch it, but my girlfriend made me. I ended up loving it. It was a great bedtime story, told in movie form. Reminded me of The Neverending Story.
