If this is a solid film, it is going to go through the roof. I don't think I've ever seen so many ads and guest spots with a Bond.

SNL has been great this early season. Macfarlane, JGL and and even Craig surprised me have all been great hosts
Agreed Wise, this season has been really good. SNL seemed to have lost its way for quite some time and whether or not I watched was really dependent on the host for the last 5 years...even then, I only watched a handful of episodes a year.
Not sure who the new writers are, but they are doing a bangup job. Glad to see they are finally utilizing Jay Pharoah, who i have raved about for a very long time. I was worried he would go the way of comedy great Mark McKinney and not be given a chance to show his true potential before getting axed.
Favorite sketch this season, Seth McFarlane with the Puppet Character Class. Tears actually came to my eyes with laughter,
Phoenix is the best impersonator in the cast, and I'm assuming by the quality that Seth Meyers is not the head writer anymore. If they would get rid of him, I imagine this show would get much better. It has been toilet bowl awful for years, but this season has been solid so far.
I must be showing my age. I didn't even recognize one of the "lesser known" actresses. Well, the one dancing around Bond as he works on a bomb. Have to look it up. And, I'm sure, unless you were my age, most didn't get the older references. Interesting. They had a bad habit of just sticking to recent pop culture.
I think a lot of SNL players are getting recognized is because three or four of their front stars left after last season.
BTW, the Big Bird skit was really pretty bad. As is SNL Update with Meyers. I think that the faux news could be dropped entirely from the show.
That was a great sketch and while I agree that most of the "Bond" titles weren't the best, I would go see a Bond movie called "Hippopotapussy."
"We're sorry, our library can only be viewed in the United States"
Fuck you Hulu.
fatpantz... YES, the Seth McFarlane skit with the PTSD vet puppet was ridiculous. I think it's my favorite this season so far too.
Jodie Foster one was hilarlous lol
