New Line Cinema has hired director Brian Levant to helm their family film PLANET TERRY.

The script was written by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio. It was based on Rob Liefeld's unpublished comic book. The story centers on a science fiction enthusiast who finds out that he is actually an alien who has been placed on Earth as part of an intergalactic witness protection program.

Neal Moritz, Rob Liefeld and Brooklyn Weaver will produce.
