You really shouldn't spoil who Haytham is since that was quite a cool surprise to me when I played it. Good review otherwise. I'm still midway through the game since I only had a week to play it before Halo 4 took over my gaming time. I'll get back to it eventually.

Need For Speed Most Wanted is absolutely brilliant, which should come as no suprise with Criterion behind the wheel. They're the brains behind the legendary Burnout series, as well as the last excellent NFS game: Hot Pursuit. As long as Criterion keeps rocking this hard, I'll continue putting insane hours into playing their games.

I bought NFS during Black Friday and ended up returning after I downloaded the demo.  I haven't played NFS games in a few years but I did like the first Most Wanted when the 360 dropped.  However, for this game didn't care for the demo at all so I returned it.  Maybe I'm not into racing games anymore plus I got Gran Turismo 5 for $10 so I didn't see the need to keep NFS.

Btw, this is my Black Friday haul this year:

Darksiders 2 ($30), Sleeping Dogs ($25), NBA 2k13 ($25), WWE 13 ($25), God of War Saga ($15), Ratchet & Clank Collection ($15), Sly Cooper Collection ($10), and Gran Turismo 5 ($10).

I had never played Ratchet & Clank before.  I missed it for some reason back in PS2, so I never got into the series.  Just finished the first game and I loved it.  Can't wait to play the rest and then purchase the PS3 stuff. I also missed the Sly Cooper games, still haven't played it but I did play the demo cause the Ratchet game brought a code for it.  The demo is short but I liked the way the game looked.

Next game I'm purchasing is Black Ops when it drops in price the day after Christmas.  Don't know when I'm going to play all these games.

Oh, and did anyone try the Devil May Cry demo?  I liked the combat but didn't like the orangey look of the game.  I haven't kept up with the game so hopefully the look is specific to that first town  in the demo.

@Hanso: The NFS games are handled by a few different developers, to meet the "MUST RELEASE A NEW GAME EVERY YEAR" dogma EA follows. That can lead to them being wildly different from game to game. NFS Most Wanted (2012) and NFS Hot Pursuit were both developed by Criterion, the Dev behind the Burnout games. They're basically new Burnout games in NFS skin, so they very much aren't like the other NFS games. I'm personally a huge fan of the Burnout series, I've owned them all. But I can totally see how coming in expecting something more along the lines of Most Wanted the 360 launch title, this would turn you off.

I totally feel your  time crunch thought; I can never figure out how I'm going to play all these games.
