Pleasantly surprised to see this reviewed on Mania.  There is a dumb stereotype circulating around  that says nerds / geeks are not into sports.  In my case nothing could be further from the truth and I'm sure that there are many others like me.  I'm a  jock and ardent sports fan who also enjoys comics, sci-fi, fantasy, horror, and action flicks, however  I do use this fact to explain why I don't know the names and lineage of every comic book character, there's only so much useless pop information one brain can hold.

Blank...I have actually reviewed a ton of sports games including previous editions of NCAA, Madden, Tiger Woods Golf, and MLB The Show.

War Eagle!

Yeah, I am not a big video game guy, but I am a huge college football fan.  I bought one of the EA Sports NCAA games a few years back (just happened to be the year my beloved Auburn Tigers won the NC!), and have not seen an need to run out and purchase a newer version because I can't see any difference between the yearly releases.  I'm all about playing the games, and don't give a rip about any of the off-season stuff.

That said, I was disappointed (but not surprised) EA lost the NCAA license.  I may pick this edition up after it has been on the shelves for a while.

Oh, and Tim, I suspect there is a copyright issue to the Michigan fight song, and that is probably why you didn't hear it.  Auburn has the same issue where the person who wrote that fight song won't give up the rights so they can't put it in the game.  Frustrating, but what can you do?
