Life of Pi arrives in theaters on November 21st, 2012.

And this is also in 3d. Looks like they shot it with the format in mind. Looks good.
I never read the book, but I know it received great reviews. If I'm not mistaken, and I haven't done a wiki on the subject, but didn't it have talking animals? I'm pretty sure it mentioned conversations between a zebra, a lion and the boy. Anyway, it looks beautiful. And, it is a fantasy without men in capes. So, that is refreshing. I'm a bit torn about now reading the book (which is sitting on my shelf) before the film. We all know the book is always better...
The book has an interesting twist at the end, one that makes you go back and look at the whole story differently. I wonder if the film will do the same.
This was better than that crappy scene placed before Promethus (I Believe). That scene with all the flying fish etc. about bored me to tears. But this looks promising. Haven't read the book.
Looks like a good ''date'' movie...now that there is no longer a Mrs. Jedibanner...this is stomehint that could open some doors.
