Lillard Looks for Gold in 13 GRAVES

20th Century Fox TV has signed Matthew Lillard to star in the drama pilot 13 GRAVES. Dominic Sena will direct from a script by J.H. Wyman.

Lillard will play an ex-treasure hunter whose search for his missing brother puts him in the hunt for Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizzaro's fabled Incan gold.

Wyman will executive produce.

Maybe, he can catch a ride with Sam & Dean from Supernatural...they are looking for their missing father. :)

Seriously, lets hope if its good that they give it more time than they gave Veritas. For which I saw the unaired episodes...And it was starting to get very cool.

Heh...Its funny when I read the title for this show I couldn't help but think that it was a prequel to the movie Thirteen Ghosts. The title Thirteen Graves would be a one for a prequel to the movie, because the show could be centered around the Psychic Lillard and evil F. Murray Abraham trying to find the locations of the Evil Thirteen Ghosts, so that they could be captured and power Abrahams Key to Hell.

This has to be a made for TV movie... I cannot see stretching this premise out to last a season let alone 1/2 a season.

When has Lillard done ANYTHING worth while? Hackers sucked. Wing Commander was God-Awfull! 13 Ghosts was stupid, and he sucked in THAT too(only thing good in 13 Ghosts was Shannon Elizabeth....mmmm, baby!). He's goofy and silly, at best, and can't act to save his life. I'll pass!

Lillard's just a wannabe Jim Carrey - and I'm not talking about the Jim Carrey who made "The Truman Show" and "Eternal Sunshine", I'm thinking more of the Jim Carrey who made "The Mask" and "Me, Myself and Irene".

Actually, I kinda like the guys work, the goofy thing seems to work on him, like in Scream and Scooby Doo. But I do agree with the above, I will be very interested to see how they will stretch the premise to cover even one regular season. I wonder what the angle will be?

He was dead on target as Shaggy... and he was funny in Scream. I don't know about this being able to last as a series is my thoughts.
