Two martial arts legends in the same film should be great entertainment. Chan's getting a little long in the tooth, but he still puts on a hell of a show. I hope this movie's better than his last few though.

I'd like to see a fight between them because their styles are so wondefully disparate. Jet Li's can be summed up as "I'm so fast you'll be unconcious before I even hit you." while Jackie's is more "Everything in this room is a weapon to me. Including you."

I thought Jet Li wasn't doing martial arts movies any more...

#4...from what I understand, Jet Li isn't doing the sweeping, epic, costumed, historical martial arts features anymore. He's down for a regular modern day ass kicker martial arts movie though. I was confused about that too.

I hope Jackie doesn't wear a tuxedo in this one.
I hope this is good. Need a trailer.

#4 Yeah I got confused on that one too.

They'll probably be a few fight scenes in the beginning between the two, and then will learn that they're on the same side and team up just in time for a grand finale ass kicking finish against the back guys army horde. Or something like that. It seems to be the motife of Kung-Fu action films. Then again, Jet Li is no stranger to being the "bad" guy.

Either way I'll definitly be there!

wessmith is right, Li is walking away from the chinese epics, not martial arts...
I have a growing interest in this project...

The Monkey King story is over 1400 years old. In Chinese theater the main character is in monkey makeup. Think of the monkeys from the Wizard of Oz. It could be an epic.

After filming Fearless, Jet Li announced that was his last 'Wushu' martial arts film, but he would be hard-pressed to continue an acting carreer if it did not involve martial arts. I like the guy, but an oscar is not in his cards (IMO).
