"Live Free or Die hard" Poster

By: Karl Schneider
Date: Thursday, March 01, 2007
Source: Filmz.ru

Filmz.ru was able to get their hands on an international poster for the upcoming sequel, Live Free or Die Hard.

The film will feature John McClane (Bruce Willis) attempting to stop a techno-terrorist from shutting down the nation's computer systems on the Fourth of July. The story takes place around Washington, D.C.

The film, currently shooting in Baltimore, is slated for a June 29, 2007 release.

KJ's Take:  It seems to have a different title Internationally ... but regardless, a simple but very effective poster.  I like it.

For Some reason, I like the title Die Hard 4.0. the Poster is great. It really is. Live Free or Die Hard is not a great title to me. I am excited about this movie....this is a franchise where the sequels are actually good.

Yeah, i have no complaints about die hard. Its a good franchise. Bruce Willis ages well. Its hard to believe that he's 64yrs old in this film. But thats wat a chin lift will do for you.

I've enjoyed all of the die hard movies. The 3rd one was my favorite. I look forward to this one.

Woodwraith, I don't want to sound mean or anything -- but you're a fucking idiot. The original Die Hard is an American Movie Classic... Die Hard With a Vengance doesn't come close.

"Hans. Boobie. I can get 'em for ya. I'm ya white knight!"

So he`s a "fucking idiot" because With a Vengence was his favorite? Well, you`re an assclown, for no other reason than your name is jamesdalton. Die Hard with a Vengence was a great flick and on par with the first 2. Personally, my favorites are 1 and 2, equally.

Oh, and the poster looks pretty cool. I agree that its better keeping it simple. All we need to know is McClane is back.

"Woodwraith, I don't want to sound mean or anything -- but you're a fucking idiot."...LOL. What the hell is up with that?! That's like saying "No offense, but..." before saying something offensive! I've never understood that. Get over yourself, dalton, even if I DO agree that "Die Hard" was the best. I liked "With a Vengeance" well enough until there was the riddle they had to figure out involving the water jugs. Neither myself or other people smarter than me were able to explain how they were able to do that test, and I made straight A's in algebra. Oh well. I wouldn't be excited about this movie if it came out a few years ago, but with the work that Bruce Willis has done since the 3rd movie, I'm hoping he has the sense to stay away from turds. I'll probably give it a chance.

This may be petty and even "fanboy" moronic (borderline), but it kinda bothers me that he has no hair in this film... It takes away from the nostalgia of it being John McClaine and makes it seem more like just another Bruce Willis action flick. I'm sure I will get used to it though, but I haven't yet.

I've enjoyed every Die Hard film. I just watched the first one the other night and it still holds up very well nearly 20 years later. The second movie is probably my personal favorite. I agree with godsonfilm that it would be nice if Willis had some hair in the film to set the character apart from most of Willis' recent roles. The villains in the first three were great characters, so I'm hoping part 4's will be a strong character.
