Pearce can't live off "indie" movies forever.  Actors, if they want to sustain a career, have to sometimes make popcorn flicks.  They need a paycheck.  I thought Pearce was the best part.  His constant one liners and not having the girl stump him was a nice change.  They could have gave a little more background on the main baddie.  But, Snow was enjoyable.  The opening interrigation had me laughing.  Even his last line in the film was funny.  

This was a decent flick, and Pierce was pretty good as a pseudo-Plissken. Shame about the rest of the movie. I really hope the underperformance at the box-office doesn't kill any chance of us getting Escape from Earth.
