Film Music Radio has learned that Joseph LoDuca has taken over scoring duties on THE MESSENGERS. Christopher Young, who was attached to the project earlier, is no longer working on the film. Its release date has been pushed several times, and re-shoots wrapped up in August. The current premiere date is set to February 2. THE MESSENGERS is produced by Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert, for whom LoDuca has worked on the EVIL DEAD trilogy, among other things. The film is directed by Hong Kong's Pang Brothers and stars Penelope Ann Miller, Dylan McDermott, Kristen Stewart, John Corbett and Dustin Milligan. Joseph LoDuca's other current projects include TV movie THE LIBRARIAN: RETURN TO KING SOLOMON'S MINES and the comedy feature BAR STARZ. Christopher Young has THE GRUDGE 2, GHOST RIDER and SPIDER-MAN 3 on his list of upcoming films.
