STAR TREK: NEMESIS scribe John Logan has struck a deal with DreamWorks to write two scripts for the studio, one of which is likely to be helmed by Steven Spielberg.
The Spielberg project will be a biopic of the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. The film's main focus will be on Lincoln during the Civil War. Historian Doris Kearns Goodwin will advise on the project.
The second project will be an as yet untitled World War II story, based on true incidents, involving Allied commandos who fought Germans on the Greek island of Symi. D'Works production head, Walter Parkes, will make his "fiction" directing debut on the project.
