She'll be smoking with jet black hair, plus I really liked her in Sunshine Cleaning Service....this is looking better and better, because Kate Bosworth was horrible...

Sarcastic Caveman I get her confused with Isla Fisher all the time! But I love this cast so far! Even though when you put Kevin Costner into any movie, it usual means the kiss of death! But I don't think it will be the kiss of death, because as we all know Jonathon Kent Dies early in the story! LoL!!!!!! No offense to Kevin Costner fans out there, I like him as an actor and some of the movies he does, but it is just true that he is the kiss of death!

 timrandles:  I think Costner's "kiss of death" followed a career of a man who could "do no wrong".  I highly doubt this is an origin tale.  I hope it is not.  A few select scenes at the beginning are fine...don't need to see Clark's teen years (I don't watch Smallville,but I believe this concept has been beaten to death.)  I think Costner's ego is what brought him to Waterwold and Postman notoriety.  He kind of lost his footing on what made him appealing.  The everyman.  Since then, despite some poor choices, he has had some rather impressive successes.  Two that come to mind are Tin Cup and Mr. Brooks.  All of this comes to my thoughts on the subject...I wish we could have a Supes tale without Ma and Pa Kent.  I also wish they would move away from the Zod concept completely.  Superman has a very rich history of villians and adventures without going "back to the previous films and concepts".  

Good choice, far better than the last actress to play Lois, who, with all due respect, wasn't sexy or beautiful to me at all. Maybe it was all the moping and angst that made her not sexy, I'm not sure. Looks good so far.

As I said elsewhere, I like her. So I can't wait to see what she does with the role.

As far as the age difference, and I apologize if already mentioned. But I remember Margot Kidder's Lois coming off as a bit older than Clark i.e already having been an established journalist for some time. Maybe it was just that interpretation as I haven't read any Supe comics in quite a while. But could be what Snyder and Co. are going for?

Great casting choice. She's an exceptional, versatile actress who definitely has that "it" thing that makes her so watchable. She commands the screen and when all is said and done will go down as one of the finest of her generation. She will deinitely give us a fiesty Lois Lane. I'm excited about this news because in order for a Superman movie to work you've got to have a strong Lois to play against both Clark and Superman.

Fine by me.

Wow!! Adams is such a terrific actor. She has the potential of steeling every scene. This could very well be the Superman movie people have been waiting for.
