Man, so awesome! U know this Sam Jackson-Nick Fury character is like his exact same character from Triple X when he plays agent Gibbons. He even had a scar on his eye/face. Maybe it IS him!

But Im really glad they went w/ Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. I can't really picture anyone else doing better, cuz he is owning the hell out of that role.

And it just occurred to me, if i were the Avengers and  had Loki locked up like that, I'd immediately send in Thor and Hulk to pummel the sh*t out of him before he causes any more trouble.

The best part of that clip was seeing Robin Scherbatsky!  Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm :)

I get it that nobody has scene this movie yet but, isn't Loki a demi-god?  What I mean is can't he just transport himself out of there if he wished or kill Fury with a wave of his hand?  Or is he allowing himself to be captured?

I'm sure they have safeguards. Unless he's screwing with them.

Love that line "Let me know if real power wants a magazine or something."

I'm not watching anymore clips. Just too much info out there. I really don't mind spoilers but just trying to save some surprises for my initial screening

mikemc, actually people have seen the film and if you don't mind being spoiled there are some fan reviews out there with all the info you could want. I for one don't even want to know the alien race although  with over 2 weeks to go I'm sure I'm going to read it somewhere inadvertently. Back to your question though remember that Thor described magic as just another form of technology so maybe they've found ways to neutralize it a bit or at least diminish the damage and defend against it just a tad

I accept SMJ as Nick Fury for these films, but my true feelings wish it was the 616 Nick Fury. I think SMJ is a bad a*s in his own way, but I always imagined a different type of bad a*s when it comes to Fury.

Anyway, I know I said I would wait a week because I didn't want to see this opening night with a bunch of kids, but what the hell! I bought my midnight tickets yesterday! Debating if I should show up an hour early to get in line. Last movie I did that for was Avatar, and I was there way too early.

alienstatue 4/16/2012 7:01:28 PM

I guess I should have put SLJ for Sam L Jackson, not SMJ. my bad

ElBaz13 4/16/2012 7:12:41 PM

Nope...refuse to watch this clip.

Seen too much already. I could wait 18 days and be surprised. :)
