LONE RANGER returning to TV?

The WB is sifting through pilots for the shows it will put on next season, and one or two interesting items have popped up. In addition to BIRDS OF PREY, based on the BATMAN off-shoot of the same name, the WB is now looking to bring back 1940s-and-50s action icon, THE LONE RANGER.
The pilot, staring fresh faces Chad Murray and Nathanial Arcand, centers on a younger version of the classic Lone Ranger and Tonto set-up.
No word on when WB will decide on when and how these two shows will be making it onto the WB schedule.
