I like it. Storywise this makes sense. Wayne would naturally be upgrading and refining his work clothes. Marketing wise I was expecting it. For each of the other movies they would make costume changes just for the fact that you could sell a new action figure. I'm just surprised they showed it so early. I guess its easier that trying to stop spy photos.

Its about time they made a suit that allows for head turning. Batman's survivability depends on his flexibilitiy. Having to turn his whole body just to look left or right was pretty lame.

I like the revamp of the suit; it LOOKS like a combat suit, plus it will be nice that Batman can actually turn his head. I'm sure Nolan will give us a good shot of Batman turning his head and giving someone "the look" somewhere in the film. I like the recent Joker pic, too.

I have to say that the suit is very nice.....you have to appreciate how much detail they're taking into making sure movement is available...says alot about the movie to me.....

I thought that was the point of the Rachel Dawson character. Keep the nipples on her and not on the batsuit.

Comic book batman rarely changes costume. Maybe utility belt, but man...and Adam West, he never got any costume changes, what gives?!

Don't get me wrong...I'll always love the Jim Aparo drawn suit the best.

But that sure is one badass looking urban crime fighter!
