And, EW.com has posted a new trailer revealing some new footage from the "Absolute Justice" movie! The special event, written by comics great Geoff Johns, features Hawkman, Dr. Fate and Star Girl as the Justice Society of America.
Marvel fans in Santa Fe may want to try out for an open casting call for extras on 'Thor'. FeatureFilmCasting.com posts that extras will be needed in the New Mexico city for a March or April shoot.

They're reporting that stunt coordinator Gary Powell is holding open try-outs for the movie. Applicants must be strong in both fighting and dialogue.

Deadline.com confirms that actor Daniel Craig ('James Bond') has signed a deal to star in the DreamWorks/Universal/Platinum Studios production of 'Cowboys & Aliens'. Craig replaces Robert Downey Jr., who is apparently going to be busy filming 'Sherlock Holmes 2'.
The movie is to be produced by Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Steven Spielberg, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, and Platinum Studios' Scott Mitchell Rosenberg.

The movie will have to vie with Sly Stallones 'The Expendables' and Julia Robers' 'Eat, Pray, Love' for the affections of audiences.
Over at the official 'Dead of Night' blog, Dan Forcey reports that the producers of the 'Dylan Dog' film have "officially locked picture on the editing of the film."
Visual effects work continues but Forcey says to expect the hype machine to spring into action now. To kick things off he's unveiled a new photo from the film.
The movie was filmed last year in New Orleans under the direction of Kevin Munroe. Brandon Routh stars as the popular character from Italian comics.
There are some new photos from 'Kick-Ass' on the web today. IESB.net has scanned the latest pics from the current issue of Empire Magazine, which features Matthew Vaughn's adaptation of Mark Millar and John Romita Jr's comic on its cover.
In related news, fans of the comic series breathed a collective sigh of relief this week as issue #8 made its way into stores this week, thus resolving the storyline a few months before the movie would.
Now they've offered up two more pieces of artwork, depicting the Guardians of the Universe (the little blue guys who are the architects behind the GL Corps) and Sinestro, Hal Jordan's mentor-turned-bad guy.
We still have no official confirmation that these images do, in fact, represent work done on the 'Green Lantern' movie. However, the Sinestro image does reveal one interesting big of info. There's a visible signature in the lower right corner of the image, and while it's nearly unreadable in the low-res pic, it does appear to be the mark of one E.J. Krisor. Krisor (who designed the looks of Venom and Sandman in 'Spider-Man 3') is known to be the concept/character illustrator on 'Green Lantern'.

Entertainment Tonight is set to air a feature on 'The Losers' tonight. Last night they ran a preview of their preview, featuring the first footage from the filmed adaptation of Andy Diggle and Jock's DC/Vertigo comic. JeffreyDeanMorangUnlimited.com has posted the footage online.
The film is directed by Sylvain White and stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana, Chris Evans, Idris Elba, Jason Patric and Columbus Short as a team of special ops agents discarded by their government handlers and out for revenge.
