Ludwig, Hinds Race to WITCH MOUNTAIN

Ciaran Hinds ("Rome") and Alexander Ludwig have joined the cast of Race to Witch Mountain, says the Hollywood Reporter. The Andy Fickman-directed project will be Disney's reimagining of its 1975 adventure movie Escape to Witch Mountain. The two thespians will join Dwayne Johnson and AnnaSophia Robb in the project written by Matt Lopez. Andrew Gunn and Ann Marie Sanderlin are executive producing their Disney-based shingle. Production is expected to begin in Los Angelese in late March.
Plot Concept: The adaptation revolves around a pair of paranormal-powered siblings (Ludwig, Robb) who, with the help of a Las Vegas cab driver (Johnson), go on the run from a diabolical group of men who wish to exploit their abilities. Hinds will play the nefarious leader of the pack.
