The producers over at Fox's Fringe have a new guest star to boast about for the upcoming season. Luke Goss, who played Prince Nuada in Hellboy II: The Golden Army, is hopping on board the television series as a guest star, reports Variety. The trade announcement doesn't mention the amount of episodes he's set to guest-star in but he will playing the role of Lloyd Parr in the first episode of the second season, which will hit airwaves on September 17, 2009.

Goss recently wrapped production on Dwight H. Little's arcade game adaptation of Tekken, in which he's playing the lead role of Steve Fox.  He's also attached to star in Magdalena, which will be produced by Gale Anne Hurd.

Thank god Luke Goss is joining Fringe, that will give the producers something to boast about!

Wait a minute, who is Luke Gosss and who cares. Get a real name and then they can boast. Wake me up when Rosie Odonel or Andie Roonie is joining the cast. Can't they write inGodzilla or some creature destroying new york.

I agree he's nothing to boast about - but who is - but he's a pretty damn good actor despite not being in a lot of films.  He's one of those low key types like Depp was back in the day before all the studio movies.  Not comparing talent just that he's not the typical Hollywood actor - not that Depp is now.

Anyway, Fringe doesn't need to boast.  It's already a great show and I can't wait for it to come back.  What's u with the Rosie Odonnel jokes, - they weren't funny on the last post.

I think any casting announcement for Fringe after adding Leonard Nimoy to the show is going to be a "so what." I suppose Bruce Boxleitner or Mark Hamil would illicit similar responses from the B5 and SW fanboys respectively...

...Goss is a good choice...Fringe is the bomb....

...and hey Mark Hamill on Fringe would be even bombier...

....damnit Eureka hurry up and get here!

Fringe rocks! I got no problems with Goss joining the cast. He has done pretty well in Blade 2 and HB2, the only things I've seen him in. It will be interesting to see him without the makeup. Mrs. fft will probably start watching with me now...

Leonard Nemoy officially joined the Fridge cast?

Fringe is a pretty good show.
